Our team of specialized professionals delivers an unparalleled five-star client experience through integrated departments: Golf Coaching, Fitness Training, Recovery, Custom Club Fitting, and Build Operations.At UGP, we train everyday golfers like Tour-level athletes — combining data, coaching, and equipment to help clients perform at their highest level.Position Summary:We are seeking driven and detail-oriented individuals passionate about golf equipment, performance, and client experience to join our growing team as a Club Fitter.As a Club Fitter at UGP, you will play a key role in:Delivering high-level custom club fittingsDriving club sales through education and performance-based recommendationsCollaborating with coaches and the build shop to ensure seamless executionThis role requires a strong understanding of golf equipment, the ability to communicate clearly with clients, and a commitment to delivering a premium, results-driven experience.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive club fittings using TrackMan and other performance technologiesAnalyze ball flight, club delivery, and player tendencies to recommend optimal equipmentEducate clients on how equipment impacts performance in a clear, simple, and confident wayDrive club sales through a consultative, performance-based approach (not transactional selling)Collaborate with coaches to align equipment recommendations with swing changes and player goalsWork closely with the build shop to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of all buildsMaintain detailed and organized fitting notes within MINDBODY and internal systemsAssist in maintaining demo equipment and ensuring fitting bays are organized and fully stockedDeliver a five-star client experience by anticipating needs and exceeding expectationsParticipate in ongoing training and development around equipment, fitting systems, and salesSupport tours and assist in educating new clients on UGP's club fitting processExperience and Qualifications Required:1–3+ years of experience in club fitting, golf retail, or a related fieldStrong understanding of golf equipment, shafts, and ball flight lawsExperience using TrackMan or similar launch monitor technology preferredStrong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex informationHigh attention to detail and organizational skillsPositive, energetic personality with a passion for golf and helping others improvePhysical Demands and Work Environment:Frequently required to talk, hear, and use hands/fingers to handle objectsEngage in physical activity, including standing, walking, and bendingAbility to lift and move golf equipment (up to 50 pounds)Vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focusWork environment: moderate noise level in an active training facilityJob Type:Full-timeBenefits Include:401(k) with employer matchingComprehensive health, dental, and vision insuranceLife insurancePaid time off (tiered based on tenure)Parental leaveProfessional development and continuing education supportEmployee discounts on apparel, clubs, and UGP servicesOpportunities for advancement within a fast-growing companyMonthly bonus opportunities based on performanceSchedule:Full-time role: 8-hour shiftsIncludes day, evening, and weekend availabilityPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree4+ years of golfing experiencePrevious club fitting certification or OEM training (Titleist, TaylorMade, Callaway, etc.)Experience in a high-end retail, hospitality, or service environmentWillingness to relocate to California or Texas prior to startingWork Location:In person at one of our UGP locations (West LA, Santa Monica, Orange County, Austin, or El Segundo)Why This Role Matters at UGPClub fitting is a critical part of the UGP experience and a major driver of client results and business growth. xaygatp This role is not just about selling clubs — it's about:Improving performanceBuilding trust with clientsElevating the overall UGP experienceIf you're passionate about golf, equipment, and helping people play better, this is an opportunity to grow within one of the most innovative golf performance companies in the industry.$55,000 - $75,000Custom Club Fitter$55,000—$75,000 USD
