This entry-level position includes comprehensive training to ensure success. This is a great role to learn and grow in a hands on work environment. You will work with our trained Field Service Technicians and shadow/assist them in their work. Opportunities to go Full Time as we are growing!Training provided! No experience needed.Duties and Responsibilities:Assist with Commission new installations of meters and metering systemsCoordinate with the data center to verify remote reading capabilities of systemsDiagnose installation errors and meter defects quickly and accuratelyDetermine appropriate actions for improperly installed, damaged, or defective metersProvide detailed service reports in the reporting systemRespond to emergency disconnect/reconnect requests and other service needs outside regular work hoursFrom time to time, this position may require overtime hours including being on-call on weekendsMaintain a professional demeanor when working with clients, contractors, maintenance staff, property managers, and tenantsSkills and Qualifications (Required):Critical thinking and troubleshooting skillsExceptional organization and customer service skillsHands-on experience testing and repairing electrical devices or installationsAbility to use a voltmeter and basic hand toolsAbility to lift up to 45lbs occasionallyProficiency with Microsoft Word and ExcelJob Details:Type: Temporary/Entry Level for 4-6 months, with the potential to extend contract Pay: $18.00 per hourOptional: Company paid for OSHA30 and SST10 trainingMetergy is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or any other legally protected status.
