In this role, you will be instrumental in building, maintaining, and enhancing our virtualized infrastructure environments tailored for software development within an air-gapped setting. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement robust CI/CD pipelines and GitOps processes that facilitate seamless integration and deployment of software updates. Collaboration is key; you will work closely with software development teams and IT specialists to ensure the smooth integration of new technologies and software components. Your expertise will also be vital in implementing security measures to safeguard our systems and data, and in maintaining comprehensive technical documentation for infrastructure and processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to mission-critical projects within the defense and security sectors, leveraging your skills to support innovative solutions that protect national interests.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess a completed degree in computer science, information technology, or a comparable qualification, along with relevant professional experience in a DevOps environment. Practical knowledge of container technologies such as Docker is essential, and experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools is highly advantageous. You should have a strong command of CI/CD tools and pipelines, with a proven track record of implementing and managing these systems effectively. Familiarity with collaboration platforms, version control systems, and development environments is required. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash is necessary, along with solid Linux expertise. Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken, are mandatory. The role demands a responsible, systematic working style, strong analytical skills, creativity, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
