Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Contingent Option II: Clinical Resources Department contingents that report directly to a House Manager, Clinical Resources Department. Meets all accountabilities of a Registered Nurse.Unit OverviewFloat Pool – For float pool we require all RN's to maintain a current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. They are assigned at the beginning of each shift to the unit if most need. They are assigned according to certified level of care; you will not be assigned to ER, ICU, or L&D unless that is your certified area of expertise. We require 36 hours per calendar month, with 12 hours minimum over the weekend, 1 summer and 1 winter holiday of 8 hours. .This posting represents the major duties, responsibilities, and authorities of this job, and is not intended to be a complete list of all tasks and duties.
