Director Of Sales

You'll be in charge of developing our sales strategy and goals, training and assessing our sales force, collaborating with sales managers, and ensuring that we create new and recurring business from various hotel sectors. Apply now if this sounds like you!Responsibilities:Coordination with the management team and department heads in designing and implementing sales strategies to achieve high occupancy and profitabilitySolicit new guests with targeted outbound sales initiatives, such as personal calls to your network and phone solicitations to local professionals, travel agencies, and other groups that will generate new revenueCreate methods to help the sales team reach and surpass monthly room booking targets that are in line with the hotel's overall revenue management goalsEvaluate information gathered from market data and create a plan to meet design marketing deliverables, hotel financial goals, and create an annual sales forecastOrganize meetings with department heads, report on sales activity for the previous and upcoming weeks, and produce a monthly expense report for all hotel sales-related expensesQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field requiredMust be able to use basic computer software including Microsoft OfficePrior experience in the hospitality field is a plusStrong analytical skills, communication skills, and leadership skills5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality field, is requiredAbout Company:Our Redding Hotel is near the Shasta Cascade Region.The Holiday Inn Hotel and Convention Center Redding is centrally located within Shasta County businesses and attractions, offering the perfect location for corporate and leisure travelers alike.
