Electromechanical Assembler III

Job TitleAlliance Machine Systems International, LLC is seeking a skilled machine assembler to join their team.Job DescriptionThe machine assembler will be responsible for:Reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, specifications, and work orders to determine materials requirements or assembly instructionsAssembling sections of machines to customer specifications; attaching units to assemblies, subassemblies, or frames using various hand and power toolsPerforming mechanical assembly operations to exacting tolerances; positioning and aligning parts using fixtures, jigs, and templates; working with rotating shafts, gear trains, mechanical structures, and sprocketsDrilling, tapping, reaming, countersinking, and spotfacing bolt holes in parts; filing, laping, and buffing parts to fit; cleaning and lubricating parts and subassembliesUsing measuring instruments to level and align work, detect and eliminate run-out, work to close tolerances with a demand for square, concentricity, and parallelismAssembling electrical or electronic systems or support structures and installing components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings using rivets, bolts, and soldering equipmentLabeling, wiring, and connecting switch boxes and control panel terminal boards from basic wiring diagrams. Checking wiring for proper coding and termination; checking for shorts, grounds, and continuityDetecting defective material, unusual conditions, or operating difficulties and reporting to supervisor describing in accurate detail to ensure proper corrective actionsCompleting necessary documentation to ensure quality and production requirementsActively participating in team meetings to communicate and help resolve any cost, quality, or production issuesRegularly and effectively communicating and interacting with other team membersRegular and predictable attendance at the worksite and on any assigned shift or work schedule is required for this position, as is the ability to work frequent overtime; this is not a job that can be performed remotelyPerforming all work in accordance with established safety proceduresMaintaining work area and equipment in clean, orderly, and safe mannerOther duties as assignedCompensation: $25-30 (DOE)Benefits: Alliance offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, 401K with employer match, PTO, paid holidays, and a bonus program.Barry-Wehmiller is an equal opportunity employer.
