Data Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect with strong expertise in Knowledge Graphs (Neo4j or Amazon Neptune) and ontology-driven data modelling, combined with deep pharmaceutical domain knowledge—especially in Market Access. This role requires bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex market access use cases into scalable data and graph architectures that enable advanced analytics and AI-driven insights.Location:The role requires on-site presence in Chicago, ILResponsibilities:Work closely with market access, commercial, and business teams to understand key problemsTranslate business requirements into structured data models, ontologies, and graph schemasAct as a functional SME for pharma market access conceptsDesign and implement enterprise knowledge graph solutions using Neo4j or Amazon NeptuneDefine graph data models, including nodes, relationships, and properties aligned to business use casesBuild and maintain ontology frameworks capturing domain semantics and relationshipsEnsure scalability, performance, and maintainability of graph-based architecturesDevelop domain ontologies and taxonomies to standardize business terminologyEnable context-driven insights through semantic enrichment of dataCollaborate with data engineers and AI/ML teams to operationalize solutionsEnsure data quality, lineage, and governance standardsEstablish best practices for data modeling and graph ingestion pipelinesAct as a key liaison between:Business teamsData engineering teamsAI/analytics teamsSupport client discussions, workshops, and solution presentationsDrive adoption of knowledge graph-based solutions across stakeholdersWhat we expect:Strong experience with Knowledge Graph technologies:Neo4j (preferred) or Amazon NeptuneProficiency in:Cypher / SPARQL / GremlinGraph data modeling and schema designExperience with:Data integration and pipeline designGraph RAG or semantic search (good to have)Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)Deep understanding of Pharma Market Access domainAbility to map business processes to data structures and graph modelsSoft Skills:Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical solutionsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience working in client-facing roles and cross-functional teamsProblem-solving mindset with attention to detailNice to have:Prior experience in pharmaceutical analytics or consultingExposure to AI/ML and Generative AI use cases (Graph RAG, knowledge-driven AI)Certifications in cloud or data architecture are a plusWe offer:Competitive compensationContinuous education, mentoring, and professional development programsA team with an excellent tech expertise #J-18808-Ljbffr
