Sr. Quality Engineer, Playwright

Job DescriptionOur client is seeking a fully remote Sr. Quality Engineer, Playwright to join their team. The ideal candidate will align with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using the Playwright framework to ensure the quality and performance of web applicationsUtilize Ruby programming skills to create and enhance test automation scripts and frameworksCollaborate with development and QA teams to design and execute test plans for functional, regression, and performance testingIdentify, report, and track bugs and issues, providing detailed analysis and suggestions for resolutionPerform cross-browser testing to ensure consistent functionality and user experience across different platformsDocument test cases, test results, and defects, and contribute to continuous improvement initiativesWork closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand project goals, and ensure alignment with quality objectivesParticipate in Agile development processes, providing feedback and support for ongoing development cyclesQualifications:5+ years of experience in quality engineering with a focus on test automationProficiency in using the Playwright framework for automated testingStrong programming skills in Ruby, with experience in writing and maintaining test scriptsSolid understanding of quality assurance methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testingExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsExperience with Agile development methodologies
