Bartender
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team at a new restaurant in downtown LaGrange. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with experience in various hospitality settings such as restaurants, nightclubs, or fine dining establishments. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our guests while ensuring the bar operates smoothly and efficiently.
Duties
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately and efficiently.
Collaborate with servers and other staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink offerings.
Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
Utilize Toast POS system for order entry and payment processing effectively.
Requirements
Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is preferred.
Familiarity with cash register operations and basic math skills for handling transactions.
Strong collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
Excellent time management abilities to handle busy shifts efficiently.
Knowledge of mixology techniques and cocktail recipes is a plus.
Ability to maintain composure under pressure during peak service times.
Must be of legal drinking age as per state regulations.

Pay: $12.66 - $14.46 per hour
