Rehabilitation TechnicianWe are looking for a Rehabilitation Technician to join our team of top notch professionals in our Rehab department!Wage: $13.00-$15.00 per hourThis position would be PRN or part-time. We are open Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Must be flexible with hours.This position would be located at our SPRING OFFICE (20639 Kuykendahl Rd Suite 200 Spring, TX 77379).Job Summary:Works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) and assists the therapists in patient care and other clinical related activities. Employees participate in and oversee the performance of a variety of non-clinical supportive activities involving the administration of routine therapeutic treatments by physical or mechanical methods.Essential Duties:Prepare patient charts for the dayClean and organize work area and disinfect equipment after treatmentObserve patients during treatment to compile and evaluate data on patients' responses and progress, and report to physical therapy staffConfer with physical therapy staff and others to discuss and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatmentPerform open and closing duties depending on scheduleAssist with necessary paperwork, PT insurance verification, ensuring physician orders are in chart, tracking # of visits, and assisting with insurance authorizationsOther duties as assignedRequirements:Associates or Bachelors in a related field, preferred1-2 years experience in a similar position, preferred120+ hours of land based and/or aquatic therapy experience, preferredExcellent patient service skillsAbility to promote favorable facility image with patients, physicians, insurance companies, and the general publicWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
