Cybersecurity Analyst – ServiceNow CMDB & Application Security (W2 Only)
About the OpportunityWe are looking for a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to support enterprise application security initiatives and ServiceNow CMDB modernization efforts. This role will focus on web application security remediation, CMDB data integrity, cybersecurity governance, and process automation across enterprise environments.The ideal candidate will work closely with cybersecurity, infrastructure, governance, and application teams to improve security posture, streamline onboarding processes, and enhance operational visibility through dashboards and automation.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary cybersecurity liaison for enterprise applicationsCoordinate remediation of external-facing web application vulnerabilitiesCollaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure security complianceDesign and enhance cyber-related attributes within ServiceNow CMDBSupport CMDB automation and data quality initiativesManage application-to-server CI mapping activitiesDevelop SOPs and onboarding procedures for enterprise security servicesCreate executive-level dashboards and security scorecardsIdentify security risks and recommend mitigation strategiesSupport automation initiatives using scripting and process automation toolsRequired Skills & Experience5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, ITSM, or related fieldsStrong experience with ServiceNow CMDB and ITSM workflowsKnowledge of web application security and vulnerability remediationExperience with ServiceNow architecture and integrationsFamiliarity with Python, PowerShell, or automation scriptingExperience building dashboards and executive reporting metricsStrong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skillsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, MIS, or related fieldPreferred QualificationsExperience with enterprise security governance programsFamiliarity with vulnerability management and compliance initiativesExperience supporting large enterprise IT environmentsUnderstanding of infrastructure and application onboarding processesKey TechnologiesServiceNow CMDBITSMCybersecurityVulnerability ManagementPythonPowerShellWeb Application SecurityAutomationRisk ManagementExecutive Reporting
