This position is responsible for operating and maintaining copper and gold plating lines used in the production of high-reliability printed circuit boards (PCBs). The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and experienced in plating processes within a manufacturing environment.Duties & ResponsibilitiesOperate automated and manual copper and gold plating lines according to traveler instructionsMonitor plating parameters including current, temperature, dwell time, and chemistry to ensure product qualityPerform chemical additions and maintain bath chemistry documentationReview and follow production travelers, blueprints, customer specifications, and process proceduresConduct in-process inspections and identify plating defects or irregularitiesMaintain plating logs, chemical records, and maintenance documentation accuratelyPerform preventive maintenance on plating tanks, filtration systems, and related equipmentMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following PPE and chemical handling proceduresCommunicate production or quality issues to supervisors and engineering teamsSupport overtime and weekend production schedules as neededJob QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in plating, chemistry, or manufacturing preferredExperience with copper and/or gold plating in a PCB or metal finishing environment preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints, travelers, customer specifications, and process documentationBasic computer proficiency for tracking and logging production dataStrong attention to detail and troubleshooting skillsEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAbility to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and stand for extended periodsCommitment to workplace safety and proper chemical handling proceduresFlexibility to work overtime and weekends as neededCompensationHourly Pay: $20 - $25 per hourCompensation is based on relevant experience, education, certifications, and specialized skills.Winonics is an ITAR-compliant facility, and all employees must meet ITAR eligibility requirements.Winonics is an Equal Opportunity Employer and complies with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
