Our commitment to you extends beyond professional development to a safety-first culture that ensures you can do what you do best, with peace of mind.Building stronger solutions together Our company is an equal-opportunity employer — we are committed to providing a work environment where everyone can thrive, grow, and feel connected.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.What You'll DoDrives and/or operates diesel or gasoline powered equipment to/from/on jobsite (Backhoe, Trencher, Directional Bore, Digger Derrick, Pole/Bucket Truck) associated with installation and repair of underground/aerial utilitiesPerform clearing, grading, excavations and all other equipment functions of construction sitesProperty or worksite restoration as needed associated with installation and repair of underground/aerial utilitiesPerforms general construction work (to include physical labor i.e. using hand tools, lifting materials on average up to 50 lbs, etc.) under direction of Foreman or SupervisorPerforms other duties as necessaryMust be able to demonstrate ability to follow directions, produce quality work, maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all Federal, State, and Company regulations and policiesWho We Are Looking ForYou are at least 18 years oldYou are authorized to work in the United States for this companyYou have a valid Driver's License, CDL preferredYou have basic knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe mannerYou have basic knowledge of and ability to use hand tools and equipment in a safe mannerYou may have the ability to read prints and interpret utility maps to identify the type and size of underground utilitiesYou have 1-3 years minimum experience within the Utility Construction/Maintenance industryYou may have prior experience with installation/repair/maintenance associated with underground utilitiesYou are able to communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc.You are able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed with or without assistanceYou are able to work as needed (over-time, after hours, on weekends, for emergencies or on-call)You are able to maintain a safe work environmentYou are able to work in all weather conditions
