Social Work Supervisor (LMSW)Location: New York, NY (90% Office-Based | 10% Local Travel)Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PMPosition OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Guardianship Program Supervisor (LMSW) to lead and support Case Managers within an Article 81 Guardianship program. This role is ideal for a strong clinical leader who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about ensuring high-quality, client-centered care for vulnerable populations.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervision & Program LeadershipProvide guidance, coaching, and direct supervision to Case Managers.Review and approve assessments, care plans, and documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality standards.Act as a clinical resource for complex cases, ethical dilemmas, and crisis situations.Develop and enhance workflows, procedures, and best practices to improve program effectiveness and staff performance.Collaboration, Advocacy & AdministrationCoordinate with healthcare providers, legal professionals, families, and community stakeholders to ensure comprehensive, client-centered care.Represent the program in interdisciplinary meetings and case conferences.Oversee caseload distribution, staff productivity, and adherence to confidentiality and regulatory requirements.Support audits, reporting, and quality improvement initiatives.Travel locally as needed to support staff, attend meetings, or address client needs.Required QualificationsLicensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in good standing.Prior experience in supervision, case management, guardianship, or within a healthcare, legal, or social services setting.Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.Preferred QualificationsExperience working in nursing homes, hospitals, or with elderly populations.Schedule & FlexibilityMonday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PMOne-hour lunch (or 30-minute lunch with two 15-minute breaks)Flexibility required for occasional weekend emergencies or extended hours in critical situationsWhy Join Us?Opportunity to lead a mission-driven program supporting vulnerable individualsCollaborative, multidisciplinary work environmentMeaningful impact through advocacy, care coordination, and leadership
