Day Custodian - Central High School

Cleaning StaffPerforms a variety of general cleaning tasks to ensure the classrooms, offices, and common areas are in good order on a year-round basis. Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00a.m.-3:30p.m. Individual must be able to positively interact with constituents (student, faculty, and staff); assist with other duties within the maintenance and operations department as necessary and as needed; must be self-motivated, able to make assessments on the fly with little supervision. Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred with specific knowledge in safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Individual must be self-sufficient, responsible, reliable, thorough and take pride in their work. May require lifting items in excess of 50 pounds. Salary range: classified pay schedule range 9: $14.42 to $15.00 commensurate with qualifications and experience.
