MECHANICAL ENGINEER - 3 Open Roles, Separate TeamsHigh Volume Food Manufacturing Equipment Onsite in Plano, TXDirect Hire **Green Card/Perm Resident or US Citizenship required*** Aftermarket /Modernaztion Team SOLIDWORKS is preffered, but experience with other CAD software accpetableFast paced and high demand.TRAVEL: ~25% to customer sites to inspect, take measurements, and discuss upgrades.Unit Equipment Team:Autodesk INVENTOR is preferred but experience with other CAD software accpetableDesign and release of unit equipment including but not limited to: make-up, de-panning, pan cleaning, bulk packaging, etc.TRAVEL: 10% - 15%R & D / Innovation Team:Previous industrial (high volume!) food maufacturing equipment OR heavy machinery designPrevious R&D experienceTRAVEL: Light 10% or lessHIGHLIGHT of RESPONSIBILITIES• Provide mechanical machine design including, but not limited to sizing and selecting all mechanical components, completing bills of materials (BOMs), and maintain up-to-date maintenance and technical manuals.• Designs products such as bakery machines, instruments, controls, or robots.• Works with a design team to create design sketches, layouts, and plans.• Uses CAD software to create preliminary and detailed drawings of the product.• Produces specifications for products and chooses raw materials and components used in production.• Builds models and prototypes of the product and tests the design.• Studies the test data and makes comparisons with similar designs.• Develops control systems and monitors production.ESSENTIAL SKILLS• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required (or professional equivalent).• 5 years Mechanical and technical skills.• CAD software (i.e. SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, or equivalent).• Equipment and plant layout design.• Pneumatic system design and documentation.• Previous conveyor system design and layouts - a PLUS#mechanicaldesign #mechanicalengineer
