CNC Machine Operator - Metal FabricationShift: Must be flexible on shifts; will train on 1st shift which is 4:00am-2:30pm Mon-Fri for 3 months, and switch to 2nd Shift or Weekend shift2nd shift ; 2:00pm - 12:00am Mon-FriWeeknd Shift: 4:00am-4:00pm Fri - SunPay: $19-$23/hr+ based on skills and experienceLocation : Ocala, FL (34474)Job Type: Contract-to-hireJob Description: We are seeking a skilled and reliable CNC Machine Operator to join our production/fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in the metal fabrication process, ensuring products meet quality standards and production goals.Key Responsibilities:Operate various metalworking machines such as punch press, brake press, bandsaw, drill press, etc..Set up machines according to specifications and perform routine maintenance.Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet specifications.Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.Record production data and report any issues to the supervisor.Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.Qualifications:Ability to read a tape measurePrevious CNC Metal Machine Operating experiencePrevious experience in a manufacturing or metalworking environment preferred.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.Basic math and measurement skills.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Work Environment:Non climate controlled facilityEnclosed with large bay doors open during the warmer monthsThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of OCALA, FL.The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
