M365 Senior Engineer
In anticipation of a contract award, Tantus Technologies, Inc. (Tantus) - recognized by the Washington Post as a Top Workplace - is seeking a M365 Engineer. This role will contribute directly to the acceleration of migration to M365, Device Management, Workstation of the Future, etc. Responsible for technical leadership and driving the Teams, Exchange Online, One Drive, SharePoint administration, PowerApps, cloud automation as well as ensuring adherence to security baselines/conditional access policies for GCC tenant and M365 apps. This resource will be working on day 1 on Exchange Online, Teams and OneDrive to accelerate configuration, documentation and deployment.* Must be a United States Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust. ** Preference for candidates within the National Capital Region (Maryland, Virginia and Washington DC). *Provide guidance and operational and project leadership as a Senior staff member of the team, working with Tantus and client stakeholders on strategy and visionPerform daily systems management and tuning, including maintenance and trend analysis of the data center infrastructureProvide day-to-day technical, administrative, and functional support for various infrastructure systemsAssist in the monitoring and maintenance of System Center, Microsoft 365, Intune and Microsoft ExchangeParticipate in the configuration and setup of on-pre and cloud technology resources including servers and end user endpointsWorking with end-users and vendors to support applications and environmentsDevelop documentation, admin and best practice guides based on government requirementsIdentify areas of improvement regarding end-user experience from a design standpointLead initiatives for researching and deploying new applicationsMeeting regularly with clients and attending client meetings and engaging executive managementAzure experience and/ or Azure certification OR Expert level MSFT certificationPrefer a seasoned experienced with government migrationsActive Directory expertM365 expertiseExperience supporting MS TeamsOffice 365 administrationM365 administration and engineeringCloud automation using PowerShell, Python or other scripting/programming languages, as well as cloud native automation toolsOn-prem and cloud networking On-prem AD and Azure Entra IDHybrid cloud experienceExpert troubleshooting skillsTerraformMS Power AppsExceptional work ethic and time management skillsAbility to work well both independently and part of a teamStrong written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to customer serviceExperience with Jira & ConfluenceUnderstanding of SAFe Agile a plusBasic project management skillsFederal IT regulatory compliance experience
