This roleis responsible forconducting in-depth financial analysis,developingand managing budgets, evaluating company and business performance, and assessing economic impacts. TheAssociateworks independently to solve complex problems and enhance processes within the FP&A and finance functions. They collaborate with team members on projects and workstreams within the department and across the organization. Theirexpertiseallows them to influence others by sharing insights and supporting decision-making based on sound analysis.Sound judgment, excellent problem solving, organizationalskillsand a proactive attitude will position the successful candidate to earn a rewarding opportunity with this fast-growing company. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: The FP&AAssociatewillprovide wholisticfinancial managementof 1GW of renewable assets that are owned in partnership by AES and minority partners.Duties will include the following (other duties may be assigned): Own monthly and quarterly deliverables required by JV Investors and Bondholders for assigned portfolio CoordinateBoard meetings and support any request made by the partners Monthly forecasting of EBITDA and earnings, annual budgeting,identifyingfinancial risk and opportunities, working with asset management and operations leaders tooptimizefinancial performance Ensure deliverables are prepared andsubmittedon timeto stakeholders Core Competencies: Candidates need excellent problem solving,time management,communicationand interpersonal skills, along with patience, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a demanding team environment.They should alsopossessthe following competencies: Self-starter with strong analytical and time management skills Demonstrated capability toadvance multiple projects with competing deadlines Track recordof leading and coordinating cross-functional, multi-stakeholderprojects and analysis Effectively influence stakeholders without direct authority Excellentcommunicationskillsand able topresent business drivers to leadership and stakeholders. Bring strong attention to detail and ability to zoom out and see the big picture Qualifications: 4+ years' experience in preparing and coordinating budgets, forecasts, and relatedfinancialreporting. The expected salary for this position, at commencement of employment, is between $100,000 and $124,950/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes annual bonus. The benefits offered for this position are: medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, 401(k) eligibility, and paid time off (including vacation, sick leave time, and parental leave).
