Director Of Care ProgramsThe Director of Care Programs is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of the daily operations of programs within the Care Programs Department. Additionally, this position focuses on the strategic initiatives of the organization as they relate to Care Programs and developing the core capabilities necessary to achieve those strategic initiatives.Summary Of Essential Duties And Areas Of ResponsibilityProgram Development And EvaluationDevelop and maintain program procedures and guidelinesPlan and implement overall operations of program within area of responsibilityDevelop a program evaluation frameworkPersonnel ManagementResponsible for supervision and performance evaluation of care teamProvide coaching, training and performance counselingImplement human resources policies and proceduresFiscal ResponsibilityDevelop operations budgetAssist in developing funding proposals, grants and other sources of donor fundingMonitor monthly financial reportsCommunity RelationsStrengthen and build collaborative partnerships with organizations that have similar missions/valuesSolicit community input to identify program/service needs/gapsRepresent Covey on multi-organization committeesCompliance And ReportingEnsure programs operate within guidelines and regulations of all relevant legislation and professional standards and organizational policies, procedures and ethical standardsEnsure programs' compliance with contractual obligations and grant requirementsQualifications/Education3+ years of experience in a leadership role within a human services or similar organization.1+ years of experience with individuals with disabilitiesExcellent oral and written communication skills; outstanding interpersonal skillsOrganizational skills and strong attention to detailAbility to problem solve, handle multiple priorities, and manage crisis situations.Ability to analyze data and use this information improve program performance and achieve program goals.Must have valid driver's license and good driving record, personal vehicle and auto insuranceFlexible work from home options available.
