Dispatch Coordinator

As a Dispatch Coordinator, you’ll be the key link between customers, drivers, and carriers—making real-time decisions that keep operations running smoothly. What You’ll Do Coordinate daily transportation needs, ensuring customer requirements are executed accurately and on time Dispatch and manage drivers while updating systems for time-sensitive freight (JIT and SPD) Handle incoming requests from customers and carriers via phone and email—adjusting routes and schedules as needed Communicate clearly with drivers, providing instructions to ensure successful, on-time deliveries Monitor routes and proactively adjust driver schedules to meet changing demands Step in quickly to manage urgent or emergency shipments Capture and update load details through systems like Omnitracs and direct driver communication Collaborate with the material planning team to align transportation with daily production needs Maintain accurate data in transportation management systems Track and update key transportation metrics Research and resolve issues, providing timely updates to internal and external stakeholders Identify and support process improvements to make the transportation network more efficient What You Bring 1–5 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, or a related field Strong communication skills—you can coordinate across drivers, customers, and internal teams with confidence Ability to stay organized and make decisions in a fast-moving environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail Willingness to learn and grow within the role Why You’ll Like It Here Be part of a high-energy, real-time operation where your work makes an immediate impact Gain valuable experience in automotive, logistics, and 3PL industries Opportunities to grow into senior dispatch, operations, or logistics leadership roles Supportive team environment that values reliability and quick thinking Benefits 401(k) Health, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off If you’re ready to build your career in logistics and enjoy working in a role where no two days are the same, we’d like to hear from you.
