Software Engineering Manager - Enterprise Tools - (Remote)
For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineering Manager - Enterprise Tools - (Remote) to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will lead a team focused on delivering scalable enterprise technology solutions that support critical business operations in a healthcare environment. You will guide software engineers, business analysts, and scrum masters while partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders to align technical execution with business priorities. The position combines people leadership, software delivery oversight, and operational decision-making to help ensure high-quality outcomes and minimize customer impact.
Location: Remote
Compensation: $141,520 – $262,697 annually
Responsibilities:
Empower and manage a team of software engineers, business analysts, and scrum masters to develop scalable software solutions. Provide coaching and performance feedback to team members, ensuring their professional growth and retention. Recommend solutions considering costs and business needs while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Facilitate all aspects of software development from planning to implementation, ensuring adherence to best practices. Serve as a channel for prioritization and escalation of urgent issues, minimizing customer impact.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. 5 years of related professional experience. 1 year of supervisory or progressive leadership experience. Strong understanding of distributed computing principles and software development life cycle (SDLC). Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
