Three Stone Hearth is seeking an experienced full-time Dishwasher. The Dishwasher is responsible for proper cleaning and storage of all dishware, cookware, kitchen tools and equipment, and packaging and delivery materials, as well as supporting the organization and maintenance of the facility to include sanitizing, bathrooms, floor cleaning and other janitorial tasks. Tasks include maintaining the organization of cleaning materials and supplies, handling recycling, garbage and composting materials, and processing kitchen laundry. Required Education, Experience, and Skills At least 6 months experience working in a commercial kitchen or equivalent, preferred. Food Handler’s Certification upon hire. Commitment to cleanliness, hygiene, safety and sanitation. Ability to safely use industrial dishwashing equipment. Good time management skills. Strong attention to detail. Highly organized; capacity to multitask, set priorities, and respond quickly to changing needs. Co-operative experience is a plus! Required Personal Attributes High level of professionalism. Upbeat, flexible, team player, with good communication and relationship-building skills. Attendance and punctuality is required. Ability to be patient in a diverse environment with co-workers of varying skills levels. Familiarity with Holacracy is appreciated but not required. Physical Requirements Excellent manual dexterity. Ability to work safely with hot liquids. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds. Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
