Firewall Engineer

Role: Firewall Engineer Location: Saint Louis, MO Description: Fulltime Role with TCS Job Description 8-10Years of experience Active member of the Firewall Engineering and Services Team Act as secondary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Firewall engineering if primary is unavailable. Participate in team discussions and assist with, summarizing, and communicating situational course of actions. Assist with planning and verification plans for large projects or platform support changes. Attend, support, and/or execute key after hours maintenance windows. Assist with evaluating and moving forward on key vendor recommendations including but not limited to Query capture response logging impact assessment. Review and assist with executing future state design. Assist with Firewall Architecture re-design efforts. Assist with problem management – As needed. Experience with developing technical documentation. Provide project support and implementation, including gathering requirements, planning, documentation, and execution of project tasks. Provide Vulnerability support to include research, documentation, and remediation across assigned responsibility areas. Assist with proactive system health monitoring and procedure development.
