Job Description Job Title: Wood Shop OperatorShift: 1st shift 7am-3:30pm Department: Manufacturing / Wood Shop Reports To: Production ManagerJob SummaryThe Wood Shop Operator is responsible for daily output within the process and/or equipment they are working on while maintaining quality and safety.Key Responsibilities· Operate table saw and miter saw· Operate drill presses and routers· Perform general assembly work using drills, impacts, and various fasteners and screws· Monitor quality and address defects or process issues in real time· Communicate production status, issues, and improvement opportunities to the Production Manager· Ensure safe, organized, and clean work areaQualifications· High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred· 2+ years of experience in manufacturing using table saws, miter saws, drill presses, working in Wood Shop envionment· Capable of interpreting blue prints· Ability to read a tape measure· English speaking is a must, bilingual is a plus· Ability to work occasional overtimePhysical Requirements· Ability to stand, walk, and work on the production floor· Ability to lift up to 50lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation· Capable of working in a fast paced environmentCompany DescriptionRon's Staffing Services, Inc. is the leader in providing industrial temporary help.
