As a Support Services Manager with Muir Home Health, you will have the opportunity to advance your career while receiving strong compensation and excellent benefits.BENEFITSCompetitive compensationHealth, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance401(k) plan with generous company matchCritical illness benefitPaid time offEmployee assistance programABOUT THE JOBThe Support Services Manager is responsible for overseeing office teams such as medical records, scheduling, and maintaining sufficient office supplies as well as working with Human Resources and acts as a billing liaison.Pay Range: $73,000 - $85,000/annuallyJob Type: FulltimeDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESOversee daily operations of office departments, including medical records and scheduling teams, to ensure efficient workflowSupervise, support, and provide guidance to administrative staff to maintain productivity and high performanceEnsure accurate and timely management of patient medical records in compliance with regulatory standardsCoordinate and optimize staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiencyMonitor and maintain inventory of office supplies, placing orders as needed to prevent shortagesAct as the primary point of contact between the office and billing department to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate billing processesTrack and report key administrative metrics, identifying areas for improvementEnsure compliance with company policies, healthcare regulations, and confidentiality standardsSupport leadership with administrative tasks, special projects, and process improvementsManages office team including intake, scheduling, authorization, and medical recordsJOB REQUIREMENTS3+ years in working in a medical setting, preferably in home health1+ year in a leadership role in the healthcare settingPrior EMR experience, home care home base is a plusAbility to exercise discretion and independent judgment and demonstrate good communication, negotiation, and public relations skills.Demonstrated capability to accurately manage detailed information.Able to deal tactfully with patients, family members, referral sources and payers.Previous healthcare related billing experience.Word processing skillsPersonal computer skillsWHY MUIR HOME HEALTH?Muir Home Health is part of the Cornerstone Group with about 75 home health and hospice agencies throughout the country.
