Full Stack Engineer

Job Description: Fullstack Web DeveloperRole Overview:We seek a highly skilled and motivated Fullstack Web Developer to join our fast-paced VC-backed startup.  As a part of our innovative team, you will play a pivotal role in engineering the Frontend and Backend of our web and mobile applications. Your work will directly influence our consumer-centric websites, leaving a lasting impact on our users, and opening the door to growth opportunities in our company.Key Responsibilities:Develop consumer-centric and responsive SaaS applications using modern technologies.Identify and implement web-based user interactions that enhance usability and accessibility.Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create high-quality user interfaces.Contribute to the design and implementation of backend software, APIs, and data pipelines.Build reliable and scalable applications that leverage Cloud services e.g. GCP, AWS.Write well-documented, tested code that adheres to best practices.Follow agile development methodologies and fast iteration cycles.The usual time allocation for this role is 50% frontend, 30% backend, 20% DevOps.Required Qualifications:Minimum of four years of combined experience in frontend and backend web development.Experience through contributions to production software or portfolio of personal projects.Proficient in Next.js, React, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS/Tailwind.Knowledge of server-side rendering, static site generation, and app router in Next.js ≥13.Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, and databases e.g. PostgreSQL.Previous work with third-party API integrations e.g. Calendly, DocuSign, Zapier.Working knowledge of CI/CD best practices and tooling e.g. GitHub, Jira.Key Competencies:Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong collaborative skills.Excellent problem-solving skills with a creative and analytical mind.High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.Strong sense of ownership and dedication to continual improvement.Advanced communication skills, with a knack for understanding requirements quickly.We'd love to hear from you if you are passionate about web development and customer-focused design and eager to face exciting challenges in a dynamic startup environment.
