We specialize in high-load software development and provide one of the best technology solutions for the iGaming industry worldwide.Our B2B betting company is seeking a highly skilled PostgreSQL Database Engineer\DBA to join our team.The position implies working hand-by-hand with the various technical teams to build and support reliable and scalable solutions at Altenar.The responsibility area requires a deep understanding of data structuring and experience in developing and administering PostgreSQL and some experience with MS SQL databases or Mysql.If that’s what you’re looking for we’ll be glad to work with you!Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain PostgreSQL databasesOptimize database performance through query optimization, indexing, and tuningMonitor and troubleshoot database-related issues and provide solutions (Prometheus, Zabbix)Work with developers to ensure database design meets application requirementsManage database security, backup, and recovery proceduresCollaborate with other IT professionals to implement database solutionsSupport highly-available systems in constantly growing workload environmentsContinuously updating core knowledge and skills in the RDBMS areaContributing and maintaining documentation for the solutions providedRequirements:From one year of experience in RDBMS administrationHands-on experience with Ansible/terraform for cluster deployment and managementExpertise in SQL query optimization, performance tuning, and monitoringExperience in supporting high-loaded systemsExperience in configuring PostgreSQL for the performance patternsExperience in building CI\CDExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other team membersB2+ EnglishBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related fieldWhat We OfferA stable, flexible, and collaborative working environment.Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.Competitive compensation and benefits package.A multinational team of industry experts from around the world.
