Job DescriptionA leading professional services firm is seeking a Content Strategist to develop compelling written content that supports marketing and brand initiatives. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator with strong writing and content planning experience. Working collaboratively, the new hire will strengthen brand messaging by creating strategic content while ensuring alignment with marketing goals and organizational priorities.Salary + Additional Benefits:$75,000-$90,000Medical, Dental, Life and Vision InsuranceHSA and FSA401K w/ company match & ESOPLocation: Houston, TX 77027 - ON SITEType of Position: Direct HireResponsibilities:Create and develop written content for a variety of marketing channels, including blogs, case studies, thought leadership pieces, landing pages, email campaigns, digital advertising, and social media.Partner with internal subject matter experts to gather insights and translate them into compelling and informative content.Ensure all materials align with broader marketing initiatives, brand messaging, and campaign objectives.Review, edit, and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, grammar, and consistency with established brand standards.Collaborate with marketing leadership to support editorial planning, messaging strategy, and campaign development.Apply SEO and digital best practices to improve content visibility and performance where applicable.Maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across all marketing and communication materials.Periodically evaluate and refresh existing content to ensure continued relevance, accuracy, and search performance.Provide support for internal communications, website updates, and presentation materials as needed.Remain adaptable and responsive to time-sensitive projects and evolving business needs.Occasional travel (approximately 5-10%) may be required for interviews, events, or content development activities.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related discipline preferredEquivalent professional experience may be considered in place of formal educationApproximately 3-5 years of experience in professional copywriting, content marketing, or editorial rolesDemonstrated experience producing business-focused content such as blogs, case studies, thought leadership, email campaigns, and social media materialsBackground supporting professional services, consulting, technology, or similar industries is advantageousStrong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities with exceptional attention to detailAbility to translate complex or technical information into clear, concise, and engaging contentFamiliarity with content strategy principles, including SEO best practices, audience targeting, and maintaining brand voiceProven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentStrong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across various functionsIntellectual curiosity and willingness to learn new tools, platforms, and industry topicsProficiency with Microsoft 365 applications; experience with content management systems or marketing automation platforms is beneficialDue to the high volume of applications we typically receive, we regret that we are not able to personally respond to all applications.
