The role oversees the execution of the campaign's AAPI outreach and organizing program in the Downstate Region (New York City, Long Island, and Hudson Valley).Responsibilities:Develop and maintain relationships with elected partners, community leaders and advocates across the regionSupport Coalitions Director in developing and managing the campaign's AAPI Advisory CouncilServe as event planning and logistics lead for Coalitions events within the AAPI communitySupport briefing needs, including review, coordination, and dissemination of materials for coalitions events & political call timeOther responsibilities as assignedQualifications:2+ years of experience managing political relationships, coalitions or in constituency organizingStrong ties to AAPI community leaders and elected officials in New York CityMust be willing to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and eveningsStrong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyWell-organized, with strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to exercise discretion and independent judgment
