Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities: Material handling, including using the bandsaw to cut materials  Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of machinery and equipment Assist the supervisor with vendor communication  Loading and unloading trucks  Other duties as assigned by the supervisor  Key Competencies: Communication Skills: excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain Attention to detail: high accuracy and attention to detail  Adaptability: Flexible and able to adapt to change within the business environment, needs, and scheduling  Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment or independently Required Experience:  Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assisting tools such as a hoist  Maintains a safe work environment Desired Experience: Basic mechanical skills  Challenges: Ability to work in an environment that has conditions that change regularly  Able to stand for long periods of time Job Type:  Full-Time- On-Site- Sheldon, IA- Hourly  Monday through Thursday: 6:00 AM-4:00 PM  Friday: 6:00 AM-12:00 PM (hours could change depending on business needs) Benefits:  Employer Paid Medical, Dental & Vision, Employer Paid Life Insurance & Short Term Disability, PTO, Quarterly Accrued Personal Time, Paid Holidays, Simple IRA, Gear Reimbursement, Sign On Bonus ($3,000), Quarterly Attendance Incentive, Weekly Pay
