2251 - PM&R Medical Director Career in Mid-Michigan McLaren Health System is recruiting a Physiatrist for Medical Directorship of our IPR at our McLaren Flint Hospital, serving eastern mid‑Michigan’s communities for over 20 years. You will join two additional board‑certified Physiatrists and one advanced practice provider serving the unit. Responsibilities Clinical oversight of the 20‑bed IPR unit, with option to offer outpatient PMR services. Manage daily census of 15 patients, with five to ten new admissions per week. Coordinate with PT, OT, resident, and internal medicine coverage to ensure optimal patient care. Provide Monday‑through‑Friday scheduling with a 1:4 call‑consult model, including home call. Work with physicians, Medical Director, and Program Director to develop program and support model. Qualifications Board‑eligible or Board‑certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (BE/BC). Fellowship training in Pain Management or interest in program development preferred. Benefits Competitive compensation.
