Unarmed Security Guard

Job Summary: Silver Shield Inc. currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Officer to join our team. The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong surveillance skills, conflict management abilities, and knowledge of law enforcement procedures. Shifts Available: Full-Time: 6:00pm-6:00am Friday-Sunday 6:00am- 6:00pm Monday- Thursday 6:00pm- 6:00am Monday- Thursday Part-Time: 6:00am-6:00pm Saturday and Sunday 6:00pm-6:00am Saturday and Sunday Duties: Patrol assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle to ensure the safety and security of the premises. Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activity. Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances. Provide assistance and guidance to employees and visitors in emergency situations. Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks or hazards. Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of daily activities. Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary. Skills: Strong surveillance skills to effectively monitor premises using CCTV systems. Excellent conflict management abilities to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally. Knowledge of law enforcement procedures, including arrest techniques and legal rights. CPR certification and first aid training to provide immediate medical assistance if needed. Familiarity with loss prevention strategies to prevent theft or damage to property. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Proven work experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role preferred Must possess a valid driver's license Ability to pass a background check and drug screening We will help you get your Level II certification within the first 30 days if you don’t already have it.
