Job Position: Payroll Administrator Employment Classification: Full-Time Duties and Responsibilities: Collect and verify timekeeping records for non-exempt employees Complete payroll reports for record-keeping purposes and managerial reviewReconcile payroll prior transmission and validate confirmed reportsCalculate wages, salaries, pay raises, overtime, doubletime, reporting time pay, time-off accruals, etc..Audit timecards to ensure accurate payroll run and follow up as necessaryEnsure that payroll is processed accurately and timelyResolve issues that employees have including but not limited to timesheet discrepancies, changes to direct deposits, tax forms, time-off requests, etc..Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments and financial personnelEnsure payroll is following all applicable state and federal wage and hour lawsEntering data into payroll and administrative database/programsPrepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactionsPrepare payroll reports for internal and external auditsAssist with auditing of agencies reports and invoicesProcess all new hires, changes, and updates in ADP WFNMaintains employee confidence & protects operations by keeping HR information confidentialResearch & resolve problems, perform scheduled activities, and liaison with service providers • Maintain quality service by following organization standardsAssist with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR officePerforms clerical duties, such as copying, scanning, filing, and shredding documentsOther duties as assigned Qualifications and Experience:Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related fields requiredADP WFN/ADI knowledge/experience requiredA minimum of three or more years of payroll processing experience requiredIn-depth knowledge of California and Texas labor laws and regulationsStrong ability to pay attention to detail and perform tasks accuratelyStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to handle sensitive and confidential informationAbility to work well with all levels of managementAbility to demonstrate good common sense and sound judgmentAbility to perform well in a fast-paced work environmentProficiency in MS Windows with MS Office Application (Word, Excel, Outlook)
