This leadership role works closely with the Residence Manager to oversee daily operations, staff supervision, resident care, compliance, and program quality within OPWDD residential homes.This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with DSP, Team Leader, Assistant Supervisor, or Residential Coordinator experience looking to grow into leadership within the OPWDD field.ScheduleFull-TimeCombination of day and evening shiftsNO overnightsOne weekend day required weeklyTwo consecutive days off:Fri/Sat ORSun/MonResponsibilitiesAssist with daily operations of OPWDD residential programsSupervise and support DSP staffEnsure compliance with OPWDD, state, and federal regulationsAssist with staffing coverage and scheduling needsSupport resident care plans and habilitation goalsCoordinate medical appointments and medication oversight when assignedMaintain accurate documentation and recordsEnsure residents’ personal, medical, and daily living needs are metParticipate in staff training, coaching, and performance supportPromote a safe, positive, and person-centered environmentRequirementsMust HaveExperience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD/OPWDD REQUIRED)Knowledge of OPWDD regulationsHigh School Diploma or HSE12–18 months of related experienceAbility to work one weekend day weeklyStrong leadership and communication skillsPreferredPrior supervisory experience in a residential/group home settingAMAP or SCIP experienceExperience with staff scheduling and documentationValid NY or Tri-State Driver’s License in good standingWhy This Opportunity Stands OutTemp-to-perm growth opportunityStable full-time scheduleLeadership development opportunityOvertime available when neededExcellent long-term benefits upon permanent hireFree medical insurance offered by clientMeaningful work supporting adults with developmental disabilities
