EAP Clinician (Licensed Independent Clinician – Unrestricted)
About the Role Conversations With A Clinician is a growing Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provider supporting employees and their families across diverse workplace and personal wellness needs. We are seeking independently licensed clinicians (LCSW, LISW, LICSW, LMFT) to join our contractor network and deliver short-term, solution-focused therapy in a flexible, supportive clinical environment.This role is designed for clinicians who value autonomy, structured EAP work, and the ability to integrate contract services into an existing private practice or professional portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver short-term, evidence-based counseling (typically 6–20 sessions) for EAP-referred clientsConduct clinical intake assessments and develop goal-focused treatment plansProvide services via in-person, telehealth, or hybrid modalities (HIPAA-compliant platform)Coordinate referrals to community resources or longer-term care when clinically indicatedMaintain accurate, timely documentation aligned with HIPAA and EAP standardsParticipate in optional case consultation with the clinical teamRequired QualificationsActive, unrestricted clinical license in one or more of the following states: TX, MD, OH, VA, WVLicensed as: LCSW, LISW, LICSW, or LMFTMaster’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related fieldMinimum 3–5 years post-licensure clinical experienceExperience with brief, solution-focused modalities (CBT, MI, SFT, DBT, trauma-informed approaches)Active professional liability (malpractice) insuranceStrong documentation and organizational competencyPreferred QualificationsPrior EAP or managed care experienceExperience with workplace stress, trauma, grief, substance use, or crisis interventionBilingual/multilingual clinicians strongly encouraged (Spanish preferred)Experience serving diverse employee populations across industries
