Patient Care Volunteer

Purpose:To serve as a friend/companion to patients, loved ones or caregivers with emotional, social, and other needs assigned.Essential Duties:Provide emotional support for the patients and their loved ones.Documentation accurately and timely.Participate in trainings.Professionalism at visitations.Provide companionship to patients.Read, board games, bookclubs, or activities with patients.Commit 1 hour per week or 2 hours per month.Maintain open communication with other team members and volunteer coordinator.Compete a TB test (Stillwater provides a free one for those who complete training and need it)
