Combo Welder

Job Description We are seeking Welder (Combo) – Local to Richmond, VA to become an integral part of our team! The Welder will use specialized equipment to weld and assemble new metal forms. Responsibilities:Perform tack welding on pipe joints, fittings, flanges, and valves per WPS requirementsAlign, fit, and secure pipe sections using clamps, wedges, and fixturesRead and interpret blueprints, isometrics, and weld symbolsVerify pipe dimensions, bevels, and root openings prior to tackingEnsure proper orientation and elevation of pipe runsAssist full-weld pipe welders as neededInspect tack welds for accuracy, penetration, and defectsFollow all safety procedures and jobsite regulationsMaintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area ​Qualifications:Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fieldsFamiliarity with welding tools and proceduresFamiliarity with engineering blueprints and schematicsAbility to handle physical workloadCompany DescriptionAt KODIAK, we are dedicated to helping craft professionals build successful and rewarding careers in the construction industry.
