Primary Role: We are seeking an experienced IMSA certified Traffic Signal Technician responsible for the Installation, Maintenance, and Repair of Traffic and Video Surveillance Cameras throughout Arizona.
Responsibilities/Duties:
* Performing regular maintenance on Traffic Control and Video Surveillance Cameras.
* Ability to replace devices and terminate accurately.
* Troubleshooting wire faults, fiber networks, and device problems on existing.
* Programming and Troubleshooting IP addresses.
* Troubleshooting wire faults, fiber networks, and device problems on existing facilities.
* Performing regular hardware inspections, lens cleaning, and firmware updates; diagnosing network connectivity or image quality issues.
* Running, terminating, and testing low-voltage (Cat5e, Cat6) and fiber-optic cable.
* Maintaining detailed records regarding work performed, materials used.
* Ability to communicate technical issues verbally and in electronic form.
* Coordinating with traffic engineers to ensure cameras are correctly positioned.
* Ability to communicate and coordinate with other trades.
* Works with the Service Department effectively to solve customer requests.
* Prompt return of Service paperwork for billing and follow-up purposes.
* Responsible for job-site cleanliness.
* Ensure life safety systems are fully operational prior to leaving sites.
* Works in compliance with the company's safety policies always.
* All documentation, field updates and communication must be punctual & complete.
* Clear and professional handling of customer interactions.
* All work is performed to National Codes & standards and quality testing techniques are practiced.

* Performs other related duties as assigned.
Site management:
* Site cleaned and returned to superior condition.
* Site and company equipment locked and secured.
* Life safety systems fully operational when leaving site.
Daily detailed work order notes completed, including indications for:
* Status of system or service call.
* Equipment used or needed.
* Accurate time accounts for all associated work performed.
* Any critical deficiencies or systems that are inoperable.
Accountability:
The Service Technician will be directly accountable to Service Management. Secondary accountability will be to the Executive team members, and customers of the company.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Requirements:
* IMSA Traffic Signal Level I or II certification required.
* Knowledge and understanding of MUTCD.
* Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
* Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and safe work zone practices (e.g., setting up cones and traffic control devices).
* Proper hand and power tool operations and safety.
* Experience with Axis, Avigilon and Alta Cameras a plus.
* Advanced computer and network skills a plus.
* Ability to pass a background check.
* CDL License a plus.
Skills/Abilities:
* Ability to work at heights of 30 to 50 feet using bucket trucks or ladders and may occasionally enter confined spaces like manholes.
* Ability to finish projects.
* Ability to organize workload for effective implementation.
* Ability to write simple correspondence and present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
* Strong customer service and results orientation.
* Ability to function as an effective team member.
Physical Requirements:
* Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
* The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
* Installers work in all types of weather conditions.
* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
Work Locations: Multiple Locations
Expected Hours: No less than 40 per week
Schedule:
* 10 hour shift
* 8 hour shift
* Day shift
* Monday to Friday
* Night shift
* Overtime
