OverviewRegistered Nurse - Labor and Delivery (L&D) travel assignment in Lexington, Nebraska. Start date: 06/16/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,338 to $2,522. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour Nights. Setting: a small long-term care facility with 25 beds that requires a multifaceted RN to support L&D functions and related units as needed.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,338-$2,522 per week- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: 3x12-hour Nights- Start date: 06/16/2026- Housing provided: Yes, $225 per weekResponsibilities- Provide direct patient care for obstetric and neonatal patients, including L&D, antenatal, postpartum, and Well-Baby Nursery as within scope.- Monitor labor progression, assess maternal-fetal status, administer medications per orders, and respond to obstetric emergencies per protocol.- Maintain accurate documentation in the Cerner charting system; ensure timely handoffs and coordination across disciplines.- Float to OB/L&D, Antenatal, Postpartum, Well-Baby Nursery, ED, and Med/Surg as needed in a small, multifaceted facility.- Collaborate with the care team to plan and implement patient care while upholding safety, infection control, and quality standards.- Adhere to the facility's call-off policy: three shifts per 13-week contract without penalty or payment of guarantee; participate in orientation (Tuesdays) as scheduled.Requirements- Active Registered Nurse license in good standing- Prior travel nursing experience required- Certifications: BLS (AHA/ARC), ACLS (AHA/ARC), PALS (AHA/ARC or ENPC), and NRP- Ability to float to OB/L&D, Antenatal, Postpartum, Well-Baby Nursery, ED, and Med/Surg as needed- Flexible to work 3x12-hour Night shifts; orientation will be conducted on Tuesdays- Proficiency with Cerner charting or ability to learn the systemBenefits and Support- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week- Housing assistance: facility-provided housing available at $225 per week- 13-week assignment with a dedicated start date- Support for travel and credentialing throughout the assignment- Multifaceted role with opportunities to cover OB-related units and other floors as neededFind more opportunitiesApplicants are encouraged to apply for other openings available at https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
