We’re looking for a Director, Java FullStack Engineer to: Develop enterprise-class applications using Java, Unix/Linux, Spring, Hibernate, Maven, JMS, Oracle, and SQL. Build full stack applications using Spring framework and React JS. Responsible for all the layers of application development required to stitch together end-to-end applications. Analyze stories, write code, implement automated tests, contributing to release and iteration planning and developing the working practices of the team. Support front end development, back-end development, middleware integration and persisting data. Drive software development including the full project lifecycle from working on multiple substantial projects using Agile development methodologies. Your expertise Education & Experience Requirement This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Management Information Systems, or related field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Developer, IT Architect, Project Manager, Associate Java Technology, or related occupation. Alternate Education & Experience Requirement (if applicable) The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Management Information Systems, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Developer, IT Architect, Project Manager, Associate Java Technology, or related occupation in lieu of a Bachelor's degree and seven (7) years of experience. Position requires experience with the following: Java Unix/Linux Spring Hibernate J2EE Oracle SQL SOAP web services React JS Agile development methodologies Kafka Tomcat JavaScript Maven test-driven development and continuous delivery automated CI/CD pipelines Spring Boot OpenAPI specifications, including Swagger REST standards.
