With a focus on innovation and scalability, I-Pulse operates offices in New York and London, alongside research and manufacturing facilities in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Detroit, Michigan, and Toulouse, France.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Pulsed Power Engineer based in Albuquerque, NM. The Pulsed Power Engineer will be responsible for designing, testing, and improving pulsed power systems, which include power generation, transmission, and distribution. Daily tasks will involve prototype development, troubleshooting electrical systems, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support research and development projects. The role will also include creating detailed technical documentation and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.QualificationsExperience in Power Engineering, including knowledge of high-voltage and high-current systemsUnderstanding of Power Systems and their design and analysisProficiency in Electric Power concepts, including switching, circuits, and discharge mechanismsStrong knowledge of Electrical Engineering fundamentals, including circuit design and testingFamiliarity with Power Generation technologies and equipmentAbility to troubleshoot and maintain electrical equipmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, on-site environmentBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related fieldExperience with high pulsed power systems is a plus
