Overview · An established local holistic primary care practice in Athens Ga is looking for Licensed Acupuncturist to collaborate with in a wellness office setting. The primary care will provide a professional workspace for the practitioner and access to a panel of established patients who may be interested in the services offered. The licensed professional will be practicing independently, with flexible self-determined schedule. Details of collaboration and profit sharing will be based on mutually agreed terms. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive acupuncture treatments aimed at pain management, acute conditions, and overall patient wellness. This role offers an opportunity to utilize advanced techniques and knowledge in Traditional Chinese Medicine to improve patient outcomes. The Licensed Acupuncturist will work in a collaborative environment committed to delivering exceptional patient care and service. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history review Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and clinical findings Administer acupuncture treatments utilizing sterile techniques and proper aseptic procedures Incorporate advanced techniques such as trigger point therapy and pain management strategies Educate patients on treatment options, post-treatment care, and lifestyle modifications Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment details, and outcomes Ensure compliance with all health regulations, including CPR and BLS certifications Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care plans Stay current with the latest developments in acupuncture techniques, physiology, and anatomy Experience Valid licensure as an Acupuncturist in accordance with state regulations CPR Certification and BLS Certification Proven experience in acute pain management and trigger point therapy preferred Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and patient assessment techniques Experience with patient service and providing compassionate patient care Familiarity with aseptic technique and safe practice standards in clinical settings Prior experience in pain management or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory This position is integral to delivering holistic healthcare solutions focused on improving patients' quality of life through expert acupuncture practices.
