Social Worker-Days Full time - 40 hours, day shift! No weekendsrequired! As a Social Worker for MiraVista in Holyoke, Massachusetts,you\'ll bring your experience and knowledge where your voice matters. ASocial Worker is an integral part of our multidisciplinary treatmentteam. You will provide direct care and support not only to our patientsbut also their families and make decisions that impact the lives of yourpeers, your patients, and your community. In exchange, we will care foryou as much as you care for our patients. As a Social Worker: You willbe an active participant in the health care team who provides direct andindirect care to patients, families, and legal guardians. Provideclinical social work services in partnership with physicians, nursepractitioners, and direct care staff. Administer biopsychosocialassessments, multidisciplinary treatment planning, case management,individual and family therapy, and systems interventions directedtowards comprehensive discharge strategies and aftercare planning.Assist with insurance utilization review and provide liaison services topatients and their family/guardians, the hospital, and outside communityagencies and programs as needed for care coordination. You will workcollaboratively as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team andcontribute to each patient?s treatment plan by helping develop,implement, and document appropriate goals and interventions, informed bypatient strengths and presenting psychiatric problems. The Social Workerwill have the following: LCSW or license eligibility for LMHC required.LICSW or LMHC with prior experience working within an inpatientbehavioral health or acute care settings preferred. Clinical Master\'sDegree, required Child & Adolescent Needs & Strengths (CANS)Certification, required within 30 days of hire Prior experience workingwithin an inpatient behavioral health setting, short-term treatmentand/or acute care preferred. Advanced level knowledge and experience inthe application of clinical behavioral health treatment and familysystem modalities for patients with psychiatric illnesses, as well asrisk and safety assessment Sufficient typing and computer skills tofacilitate use of Electronic Health Record required; experience withElectronic Health Record, including Medsphere/Vista preferred. Possessadvanced level knowledge and experience in the application of clinicalbehavioral health treatment and family system modalities for patientswith psychiatric illnesses. Possess an understanding of appropriatecommunity support and systems available to patients after discharge.Demonstrate competency and possess the knowledge base, skill, andability to work in an acute inpatient setting. Bilingual English/Spanishpreferred.
