Product Development Engineer (Space Systems)Located in either our Anaheim, CA or Lancaster, PA facilities (whichever you're closer to)We are a developer and manufacturer of system level thermal solutions. For the past 20+ years we've partnered with customers in the Aerospace, Military, Medical, Industrial Products and Government R&D sectors to help them utilize our technology on mission critical applications all the way from spacecraft thermal management to medical surgery temperature control at ranges from -150 to 1,100 degrees Celsius! Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated Product Development Engineer to join our Space Systems team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and development of innovative space system solutions, ensuring that they meet performance, reliability, and safety standards. This role requires a strong engineering background and a passion for space technology.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop space systems and components using SolidWorks and other CAD tools.Conduct Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis to optimize designs for performance and efficiency.Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to assess structural integrity under various conditions.Execute thermal engineering analyses to ensure components operate within specified temperature ranges.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate designs and meet project objectives.Participate in testing and validation of prototypes to ensure compliance with specifications.Prepare documentation and reports for design reviews and project updates.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in product development within the space systems sector.Strong proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.Experience with CFD and FEA tools and methodologies.Knowledge of thermal engineering principles and applications.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.BenefitsLow cost medical, dental, visionCompany paid life & disability401k w/ company matchProfit sharing bonus planHealthy work/life balanceGenerous PTO + up to 10 paid holidaysEvery other Friday off with our 9/80 schedule!
