Elevator Operator (Seasonal)

Join our team for the summer harvest! We are seeking a Seasonal Elevator Operator this role is responsible for providing excellent customer service while assisting with the receiving, storing, and shipping of grain, as well as performing basic maintenance tasks.Key Responsibilities:Provide prompt, professional customer service and assist with inquiries or concernsLoad and unload grain trucks; inspect grain for moisture, insects, and foreign materialOperate grain handling equipment (conveyors, trippers, flow pipes, etc.)Monitor and record grain temperaturesPerform routine maintenance and minor equipment repairsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentComplete required paperwork accurately and communicate effectively with team membersFollow all company safety policies and proceduresWork flexible hours during harvest, including nights, weekends, and overtime as neededPerform other duties as assignedRequirements Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, climbing ladders, and working at heightsComfortable working in environments with grain dust, noise, and varying weather conditionsWillingness to work long hours during seasonal harvest periods (typically May-July and/or fall)Strong attention to safety and ability to follow all safety protocolsDependable, team-oriented, and strong communication skillsWillingness to learn and take on new tasks as needed
