Home Care Aide/Caregiver

- Provide personal care services to patients in their homes - Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming - Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals - Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature - Assist with meal planning and preparation, ensuring dietary needs are met - Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up - Assist with transportation to medical appointments or errands - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation and records - Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality Experience: - Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred - Familiarity with medical terminology and systems is a plus - Ability to cook nutritious meals for patients based on dietary restrictions or preferences - Knowledge of medication administration procedures and protocols - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide compassionate patient care Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
