Palantir Developer / Data & Application Engineer
Geo Owl is seeking a Palantir Developer / Data & Application Engineer to design, develop, and support data-driven applications, workflows, pipelines, and analytics solutions using Palantir Foundry and AIP. The ideal candidate will combine software development and data engineering expertise with the ability to translate mission requirements into practical, user-focused solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop applications and operational workflows using Palantir Workshop, Slate, and AIPBuild and optimize data pipelines using Pipeline Builder, Python, PySpark, and SQLDesign and maintain Palantir Ontology objects, relationships, properties, and actionsIntegrate data from APIs, databases, files, and other enterprise sourcesDevelop dashboards and analytical products using Workshop, Contour, and QuiverPerform data analysis, data quality checks, troubleshooting, and performance optimizationCollaborate with analysts, engineers, mission users, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutionsProvide user training, technical documentation, and mentorshipApply security, access-control, data governance, and software development standardsEvaluate and implement new Palantir capabilities, including AIP and AI/LLM-enabled workflowsRequired Qualifications3+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, analytics, or a related technical field1–2+ years of hands-on Palantir Foundry development experienceStrong proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQLExperience with Palantir Foundry, Ontology, Pipeline Builder, Workshop, Contour, or QuiverExperience with data integration, data modeling, and data pipelinesStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skillsActive Secret Clearance required.Ability to work onsite at Fort Belvoir, VirginiaPreferred QualificationsExperience with Palantir AIP and AI/LLM-enabled workflowsPalantir Foundry certification or formal Palantir trainingExperience with AWS, Azure, or GCPFamiliarity with DevOps/CI/CD and enterprise security frameworksExperience supporting U.S. Government, defense, or intelligence missions
