Payroll Manager - Boston, MA (Hybrid)We are currently seeking candidates for a Payroll Manager role with a well-established financial services firm located in Boston, MA. The Payroll Manager will be responsible for supporting the accurate and timely processing of multi-state U.S. payroll while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of payroll processing experience, including 3+ years of full-cycle payroll management experience. Experience with ADP payroll software is required.This is a 6-month contract position paying between $50-$55/hour (depending on experience).This role supports a hybrid work model, consisting of 3 days on-site in Boston, Massachusetts, and 2 days remote/week.Responsibilities:Support end-to-end processing of biweekly U.S. payroll across multi-state, exempt, and non-exempt populationsReview payroll inputs for accuracy, including new hires, terminations, pay changes, timecards, and special earningsProcess off-cycle payrolls, corrections, and retroactive pay calculationsRespond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional mannerMaintain data integrity across ADP Portal, ADP Vantage, and Equifax Unemployment systemsConduct reconciliations and audits to ensure payroll accuracy and regulatory complianceProcess garnishments, levies, and other involuntary deductionsSupport payroll tax reconciliations and coordination with ADP TaxPrepare ad hoc reports and data analysis for internal stakeholdersAssist with system testing for payroll updates, enhancements, and regulatory changesDocument payroll procedures and support process improvement initiatives Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience requiredMinimum 3 years of full-cycle payroll management experience requiredExperience with ADP payroll software requiredMulti-state payroll experience requiredCPP or FPC certification preferredFamiliarity with expatriate and international payroll tax guidelines is a plusStrong knowledge of payroll tax compliance, wage and hour laws, and general ledger entries as they relate to payrollProficient in Microsoft Office with excellent written and verbal communication skillsFor immediate consideration, interested and qualified candidates should send their resume to Jackson at
