Job DescriptionGPAC is partnering with an established and growing rare disease research, outreach and advoacy organization to identify their next Fund Development ManagerThis is a Fundraising Specialist role is Full Time and Hybrid and seeking candidates with the following qualitiesEntrepreneurialRelationship-builderTech-savvyThis opportunity offers An opportunity to help those living with rare disease find purpose and work towards a cureDevelop relationships and fundraising expertise to strenthen your skill set Work with a small but mighty team in a supportive, dynamic environment$80k - $85k + room for growth based on fundraising results Full benefits package and hybrid work arrangement (multiple times weekly in office) within the Twin CitiesPosition SummaryThe Fund Development Manager will help the organization develop and expand new peer-to-peer and major gift fundraising strategies to engage and activate supporters nationwide.Job ResponsibilitiesDrive, plan and execute an ongoing fundraising strategy by mobilizing a base of supporters who are impacted (or who have a loved one impacted) by the diseaseStrategies will focus particularly on targeted, online peer-to-peer outreach, but will includ the opportunity to support and grow into major gifts cultivation as part of roleAssist with the implementation and expansion of current nationally based campaigns Attend and engage supporters, stakeholders and funders in annual spring national conference to deepen support and advance strategic outreachCreate a donor retention culture and work closely with VP of Development in managing all stewardship and cultivation activitiesEmbrace a data-driven fundraising and engagement culture which includes utilizing the organization's database / CRM platformLiaise with the finance and administrative teams to ensure all funds raised are stewarded appropriatelyCollaborate internally with marketing team to develop and disseminate all fundraising collateral, such as thank you letters, annual reports, appeals, etc.Role RequirementsMust embrace the organization's missionStrong interpersonal and writing skillsHave knowledge and experience in communications and fund raising techniquesBe organized and exhibit "follow through" on tasks and goalsSuccess in developing and managing fundraising campaigns from concept to deliveryExperience using fund development databases / Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform(s)Preferred: Experience in advocacy, outreach or fund development roles within rare disease organizationsTo apply, use the link below or contact David Libert at david.libert@gogpac.com or 605.705.3106.
